Dear friends,
It’s been a while since my last post. I want to thank all of you who contacted me during my absence. I was deeply touched by your love, care and concern and so grateful for your prayers.
The last few months have been a challenge to say the least. But God…..has shown me His love and faithfulness every step of the way guiding me and instructing me in the way I should go, as I renewed my then “confused mind” on His Word and He continues to work in me with each new challenge/trial that comes my way.
Are you going through a difficult time right now?, Know that you can trust Him. He is faithful and deeply loves and cares for His children. We see His love for us when we look at the cross of Jesus, I am always overwhelmed with amazement and wonder.
It breaks my heart when people talk about God and you immediately realise that the God they believe in, is one created in their own pitiful imagination, a God that doesn’t exist, a God that can’t save, a God that smiles at sin and loves everyone. It’s so hard to get through to these people!!! It’s so sad.
I don’t know what tomorrow will bring but Jesus spoke to me in His Word and said:
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble”.
And He also said “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
I pray that you are all doing well in the current covid world we find ourselves in. May the Lord give us unending opportunities to share the hope that is in us. To share the gospel of His beloved Son, the gospel that will set sinners free from bondage to sin and bring the light of Christ into their souls.
Glory to God alone
Crissy

Crissy,
I have been wondering about you and thankful you are well!
A friend and me had a small Bible study the other night and I purposely chose Matthew 6 to read…. It seems I needed another reminder and He used you to do it. ❤️❤️❤️
So happy to see a post from you and hope you have a great day!

Thanks for touching base with us again Crissy. The world around can do no more than rattle sabers and distract us into hunkering down in fear, while the real battle with and against the Gospel and eternity wages real-time. It looks like I will lose three family members within a tight span (old age stuff) #2 possibly today. They all stand to inherit way more in their promotion being born into God’s family.

Hi Gary, totally agree.
Sorry to hear about your family members Gary but in the sadness of losing a loved one we always rejoice with the angels of heaven when they belong to Jesus and we will see them again.
A few days ago I was made aware of the death of Sydney Poitier ( a favourite of mine)I spent a long time trying to find an article or something that will tell me he was a Christian. 😢
