(Morning Star News) – Violence against Christians in India hit a new level on Tuesday (March 3) when Hindu extremists ran their motorcycles over a key evangelical leader after beating him, sources said.
Armed with bamboo rods and a thick metal chain with a heavy lock on it, the 10 Hindu nationalists in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh state beat Isaac Paulose, 48, and then ran their five motorcycles over him, fracturing one of his ribs, said Uttar Kumar Deep, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church of CEA (Christian Evangelistic Assemblies), Sehore.
Paulose, an elder at the church and Madhya Pradesh coordinator of the New India Evangelistic Association, was attacked shortly after dropping his 5-year-old son off at school that morning, Pastor Deep said.

Praying for him! I have a friend in Pradesh area of India who is a Pastor and he contacted me on Twitter a few months ago and asked for prayer. He was worried about the new anti-conversion law and possible violence against Christians. Praying for them all! God bless!

Good to keep in mind Crissy! We are often times taking far too much for granted! My grandparents and parents would tell me growing up, “try walking in another person’s shoes in your mind before you say anything about him or her.” You just reminded me to start doing that more again! 😊 🙏 🤗

Hello Crissy! Thank you for taking the time to share that special note of truth in your life! I’m glad to hear about that and I know what you mean totally; I miss my grandparents very much and it seems like there aren’t any people like that anymore, I mean you have great qualities like they did and I have some that rubbed off on me, but I know I’m not near as strong and beautiful as they were back then, they were so basic and down to earth and wise about all the things that matter, and so giving, full of love! If they saw all of this crazy stuff happening now and this tech age I think they would say you all have gone crazy! Things were hard for them back in the day but it was simple and down to each as to how people shared and spent so much quality time together, big family gatherings every weekend after all the hard work was done, but now NO MORE! At least we have those times we had with them in our hearts, minds and souls and it make me tear up to think of them, because they were our bridge to a long gone era in history and we can only hope and pray to be with them in heaven someday with God! You are a good soul and I hope God blesses you and yours richly. Amen. 😊 🙏 🙏

And you’re so right the Scriptures and Jesus told us so much about how we should consider those who are less fortunate and the down trodden! “There but for the grace of God go I.” John Bradford
“John Bradford was an English Reformer, prebendary of St. Paul’s, and martyr. He was imprisoned in the Tower of London for alleged crimes against Mary Tudor. He was burned at the stake on 1 July 1555.”
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:10

India is becoming a culture with little tolerance of the non-Hindu population, whether Christian or Muslim. There has always been conflict between Hindus and Muslims, but the increasing persecution of Christians is alarming. We can all add persecuted Christians to our prayers.

Indeed. We must pray for our brothers and sisters undergoing such persecution.
