Is Jesus Still a Man?

He made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a servant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:7-8).

Yes, Jesus is still a Man!

The Bible teaches that the immortal, invisible Second Person of the Godhead took upon Himself human flesh and blood (Hebrews 2:14). In His Incarnation, He didn’t stop being God, but humanity was added to His being. As the hymn, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” says, Christ’s deity was “veiled inflesh.”

Immortal deity cannot die, so when Jesus died on the cross, it was His humanity that died and was buried. The same body that went into the tomb came out of the tomb! Since His deity didn’t die, what was raised from the dead on the…
