The threat is real, but not likely to be heeded.
Mr Ettinger writes that most in the West don’t know anything about the Bible they own. Very true. I can also vouch that it is true in Africa, even among pastors (some of whom have seminary training).
Whatever the future holds, wherever you may live, remember the words of the Psalmist, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Ps 119:11).
