“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
John 14:1-6
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you”
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

Timely post, Crissy as I just finished watching “Before the Wrath” movie, the second time around before the rent ends. Again, thank you for introducing me to the movie. A blessed New Year!

Hey, Crissy! I thought the movie was informative. I think people need to wake up and see all the signs that are around us! I personally hold to a prewrath or mid trib rapture. I think people are scared to discuss end time events and rapture for fear of being labeled a kook. I also think that false prophets who pick literal dates and times of Christ’s returning are doing much to hurt the cause of Christ. I don’t think the great following away has anything to do with rapture views but to a rejection of sound theology and the Bible. I know quite a few people who aren’t reading the Word as much or partaking in church service either online or in person because of COVID. What did you think of it if I may ask?!

Thank you for taking the time Tom share your views Mandy. I also found the movie interesting, also exciting and filled me with a renewed hope and vision of the truth that our precious Lord and Saviour will one day come to take us to the place He is preparing for us at the Father’s house. What a day that will be! and that day is drawing nearer. As far as the timing of the rapture (a topic of ugly arguments and divisions among many Christians today ) I am in two minds, pre trib or pre wrath. I am not a Bible scholar by any means but after many years of study, discussions, and all that, I tend to lean more towards a pre tribulation rapture, but I refuse to argue with anyone on the subject but I do enjoy discussing the subject in a loving manner with full respect of a brother or sister’s different position to mine. I agree not many today want to hear about the rapture or the end times . I think these people are much too comfortable in the world. I am blessed to have a pastor that mentions the end times and the return of Jesus for His people. That view changes the way we live and helps us to focus on what’s important.
As far as 2 Thes 2/3 a brother in Christ shared a verse in the Geneva Bible with me . I’ll share it with you and let me know what you make out of it. I am not yet sure myself if it refers to the rapture or the falling away.
“Let no man deceiue you by any meanes: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sinne be disclosed, euen the sonne of perdition,”
2 Thessalonians 2:3 GNV
God’s peace and blessings Mandy to you and your husband.

I agree with you about discussing in a loving manner!! I definitely think there will be a rapture, I am not dogmatic on the timing! I am moving more toward pre-wrath rather than pre-trib; however, God is more than welcome to come for us anytime, and He will!!
For me when I talk with people about end times, it’s not so much they are comfortable as they don’t want to be viewed as a kook (which I think the video did a GREAT job of discussing). I also think people have been led astray in the sense that we aren’t to know the day or hour; however, I agree with the video that we will know the season. I was taking 2 Thes 2:3 as a falling away, but it could be the rapture. Again, I’m not dogmatic on either view!! Thank you for sharing that!
What grieves me is that people do not want to take an honest look at the geopolitical events that are occurring (and I’m not just talking about COVID). From peace with Israel to Turkey being virtually all over the map, God is on the move and I pray that people will open their eyes and see their Bible coming to life in their lifetime!
Love and blessings! How may I best pray for you?!

Hi, Crissy! My brother’s name is Chad and he is hostile to the faith. If you would pray for his salvation I would really appreciate it! My personal ongoing prayer request is for wisdom and discernment. Wise people seek wise people and right now we need wisdom and discernment more than ever! I will most certainly pray for you children and grandchildren’s salvation. I don’t know if you Skype or FaceTime but if you do let me know!!!

Mandy I will be praying for your brother .
I also pray for wisdom and discernment, I will be praying for you. Vital for the times we are in where deception is rampant and stupidity is applauded.
.I don’t Skype, I have used FaceTime with my grandkids but mostly messenger.

Thanks, Crissy! It’s such a blessing to have God’s assurance of salvation and a home waiting in Heaven because of Jesus Christ. May we never take it for granted.
Jesus clearly stated “No one comes to the Father except through Me,” yet pseudo-Christians somehow twist that to mean all religious paths and even atheistic moralism are valid.

Jesus warned us in Matthew 24/24 about the deception of the last days. Grateful for the promise that the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. I find that most people I share with want to stay deceived .🤷🏻♀️
