“Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
John 14:6
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 3:16-18
“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.””
Acts 4:12
Thanks, Crissy! Preach it, MLJ! I remember my “road to Damascus” epiphany when I understood the Gospel for the first time after having been told I needed to merit my salvation for 27 years. What a revelation!! It was like a light switch suddenly being turned on in my head and my heart. Looking forward to some MLJ tonight.

Whoops! I also wanted to mention that the RCC readily concedes that while “Jesus is the only way to salvation,” what they mean by that is Catholics must merit their salvation with the help of Christ’s sacraments. They also teach that “good” Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and atheists are also able to merit their salvation via their own religions by the mysterious graces flowing from Christ and his RC church. Hence they teach Jesus is the ONLY way while dichotomously teaching there are MANY ways.

Grateful that though at first there was no way, He’s now made a way!
