“The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!””
Ruth 2:12
I was discharged from the hospital yesterday.
I am feeling much better although still on antibiotics and further testing is required.
I went home feeling like the pin cushion in the picture.
I don’t remember being attacked with so many needles several times a day by the lovely nursing staff.
Thank you to all who prayed for me and for your encouragement.
“Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.”
Psalms 57:1

Going Home is such a good thing. Prayers answered but pin cushion experience included. I imagine you have a ways to heal yet.

That’s hard. I have a couple friends who struggle with that. Hang in there, I know it didn’t surprise God even though I often wish he would wave his hand and all our pain, struggles and trials would go away. Just glad our final “get to go home” won’t let those things through the door.

Amen to that Gary. Is hope that keeps us going.
