To all my dear friends,

I am slowly catching up with reading all your posts. I have not forgotten you. Life has taken another unexpected turn for me. I am going through some serious situations at the moment, so the bad news from the doctor on Tuesday was the last thing I needed.

Expect the unexpected!,

Well, I wasn’t ready for it. It hit me like a ton of bricks.

Those of you who read my little blog would perhaps remember that I broke my wrist in June, and in July I had to undergo an operation to straighten my broken bones. As a consequence the doctor sent me for a bone density test.

The results from the scan were straight forward, no mincing words here, I have advanced osteoporosis. I was told I have the bones of an 120 year old woman. ( Of course I would be a spring chicken if I was living before the flood)

Some tests will be carried out in the next few weeks to see if I was alive back in the days of the dinosaurs before starting treatment.

So glad the Lord is carrying me through all this episodes that have attacked my life so unexpectedly. God is so amazing!!! At my weakest moment this morning, He spoke to me in Psalm 121 and calm my restless soul. I trust Him ever so completely. His steadfast love sustains me. He is so good.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”

Psalms 121:1-8

“Let this encourage those of you who belong to Christ: the storm may be tempestuous, but it is only temporary. The clouds that are temporarily rolling over your head will pass, and then you will have fair weather, an eternal sunshine of glory. Can you not watch with Christ for one hour? “~ Williams Gurnall
