“Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding.”
Proverbs 23:23

When Christian and Faithful entered Vanity Fair, the people very much noticed them for several reasons: Firstly, they were dressed differently than those who traded at the fair and so some called them fools.
Secondly, they spoke differently than the men of this world. Thirdly, they were not interested in the trinkets and amusements of the fair. One mockingly called to them, “What will you buy?” But they said, “We buy the truth!” So the people of Vanity Fair hated them.
“I have seen everything that is done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind.”
Ecclesiastes 1:14
“The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.”
ECCLESIASTES 12:13-14

Some people’s vanity leads them away from the truth. The “hip” thing is to follow the Word of God. Great read Sonrisa!
