Thanks for re-blogging this, Crissy. I don’t know how it is in Australia, but here in America we Christians regularly mix faith with politics and nationalism. We get drawn away by these temporal issues and forget that all of these troubled, unsaved souls need Jesus Christ and the Gospel. I would add that the church in America made a HUGE mistake back in history by endorsing slavery and racial segregation.
Crissy, I appreciate you sharing David’s post. He writes about the heart of the matter through the Gospel. Our focus should be on sharing the love and hope of Jesus.
The fall of Adam and Eve, with the resulting curse, is the root of all evil in our world. It may seem to be overly simplistic in explanation, but is true.
