For more than half a century scientists have warned that much of the American State of California will disappear into the Pacific Ocean. Running from south to north through the center of the state is the San Andreas Fault, a crack in the earth that shifts between 1 to 2 inches (30 – 50 mm) per year.
Despite the warnings of scientists and government officials, about a half-million people move to California each year. People enjoy the warm and temperate weather of California. To accommodate the crowds, larger and bigger buildings are constructed. Taller and more elaborate buildings are raised even with the knowledge it could all disappear in a moment!
For millennia, Christians have been preaching the words given by God to humankind. This message has always included the warning that It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once…

Growing up in California, and also living in other states, I’ve run across some interesting attitudes. For instance, folks I knew in the midwest couldn’t imagine living the threat of earthquakes, yet they are constantly under the threat of tornadoes. Same goes with folks living in the Eastern states, under threat of hurricanes.
My brothers and I left California years ago; but we left for political reasons. California is sinking into the waters of sin and rebellion to G-D. It may actually sink into the Pacific when the Big One Hits, too.
It’s true. We’re all gonna die. We’re not really safe anywhere. Only in the everlasting arms of Yeshua Jesus are we assured of life, and life abundantly.
Keep up the good work, Chrissy.

In my younger days I dreamed of living in California-at 14 it seemed like that “Neverland”… that dreamy place where all my youthful lusts could be met! Where I could hang out with rockstars and live off the land! Aaaaaaah!
So blessed to have that “dream” dashed by our Good Lord!!!

Praise God He dashed your “dream” and brought you to the cross. I like to remember of the foolish things God saved me from, even before I came to faith in Him. He is so good.

When I was growing up my dad often said, “Live every day like it’s your last, because one of these days you’ll be right.”

Very wise words. But we don’t always do it, although the older I am getting the more I think about going home and I do “things” with that perspective in mind.

The San Andreas fault is long overdue. The movie “San Andreas” pains a pretty grim warning of what could happen.
